This inviting stone courtyard, surrounded by wisteria-draped balconies and the oldest fig tree in Sonoma, is the centerpiece for this comfortable, sunlit location by the pool. Large umbrellas and semi-private cabanas enhance this unique setting. It’s perfect for a wedding reception, rehearsal dinner or a birthday celebration on a warm summer night under the clear, star-filled sky. The courtyard is our most versatile location, offering partial courtyard, inside & outside capabilities.
Bridge Table

This long, solid oak table was created from a bridge built in Vermont in 1810. It is the focal point in the heart of the restaurant with full views of the exhibition kitchen. It’s a favorite dining spot to see and be seen and ideal for close family and friends.
Fireplace Lounge
40 seated / 45 reception
A generous fireplace is the main focus with contemporary décor gracing the bookshelves. This stylish room with its high, boxed-beam ceiling features a glimpse of El Dorado circa 1865, where a portion of the original adobe structure is visible. With a view of Sonoma’s Plaza & French doors that open onto the stone courtyard patio, it’s a favorite for more intimate gatherings.
Fig Tree Courtyard

This courtyard is a welcoming addition to the Fireplace Lounge. With the French doors opened, the Fig Tree Courtyard is a beautiful space to host a reception prior to being seated for dinner, post dinner toasts or additional seating for up to 20 guests.
Private Dining Room

This casual, yet sophisticated room is the ultimate location for exclusive parties with French doors that allow a view onto the stone courtyard patio with a glimpse of the pool in the distance. Frosted glass doors that provide added seclusion from the restaurant for your gatherings.
WINE BAR
40 seated / 40 reception
Our corner-facing Wine Bar is fully private space with ample light looking out over the Square. Available to set up in rounds, a long banquet or for a standing reception. French doors can be open or shut, depending on the need of the event. Our back wine wall bar area allows for reception platters and/or beer and wine service. Design details including an original glass paneled window treatment over the doorframe and subtle window shades lend to creating just the right mood.
Room Blocks
Room blocks are available at El Dorado Hotel, located in the same building as the restaurant, so that guests can relax and enjoy the full Sonoma experience.

FULL BUYOUT
El Dorado Kitchen is available for a full restaurant buyout, accommodating 200 guests for a seated dinner, 250 guests for a reception, and 150 guests for a reception and seated dinner.
